After a successful season fielding a side in both the Rugby League Conference and the Rugby League Merit League, the Sheffield Forgers are proud to announce that their application to enter a team into the Pennine League has been accepted for 2008/9.

More details on the application will follow shortly once it is confirmed.

This is great news for the Forgers and shows how far the club has come in just a few seasons.  Thanks must go to everybody involved with making this a success most notably Sheffield Forgemasters for their sponsorship and ongoing support, all the players, support staff and spectators.
